Oily Skin Tip

Got oily skin?

Well, let's start this week with a natural skin care tip that'll help you sop up your excess oil.

This is so easy, you're hardly going to believe it...
Rub a crisp lettuce leaf directly on your skin to help combat the greasies. You can also use fresh lettuce juice on your face or pour some into your bath.
Lettuce juice also works well to sooth irritated and sunburned skin.

If you'd prefer to use natural skin care products for oily skin problems, I recommend the L'Bri line. Click here for details.

  1. Hi Chet!

Home Spa Lady here with a tip for dry skin!

"How To Soften Dry Elbows with Kitchen Ingredients"

Cut up a pineapple and put in blender. Rub it on dry elbows (and knees too!)

Keep it on for 15 minutes ( you can soak in a tub with elbows out of the water, and knees bent up out of the water too).

Rinse off in the tub or shower. Apply your favorite lotion and notice how incredibly soft your elbows are!

Thanks for all your great information!

  2. Hi Chet. Wanted to know how to reach the person that wrote "Why an Expectant Mom Said No to a Strict Vegan Diet"
by Victoria. I wondered when she said she uses very few grains, what she meant. Does she sprout them? Grains are our source of B Vitamins. Grains should be a very large part of our diet. Raw is great for enzymes, but 20% of our food should be cooked, to make use of items that are needed but not useful raw. Fermenting also is very valuable. Many persons go into vegetarian without including all the nutrients. A diet of McDonald's cheese burguer combo, hold the meat, and including refined sugars, refined flours, and salt, is not a healthy way to live as a vegetarian. Karen
